From the UN general Assembly:  Despite clear evidence that there can be no health without mental health, nowhere in the world does mental health enjoy parity with physical health in national policies and budgets or in medical education and practice. Mental health and emotional well-being are priority areas of focus for the Special Rapporteur who has attempted to bring mental health into focus as a human rights and development priority in the context of early childhood development, adolescence and the Sustainable Development Goals.
